The full scope of work on a project can include but is not limited to; initial consultation and design concepts, space planning, custom furniture/lighting design, millwork drawings, renderings, sourcing/purchasing, down to the final instillation.

This helps to ensure that the space is beautifully presented to prospective buyers and will appeal to the broadest possible market. Many developers like to offer prospective buyer’s complimentary access to Interior Designers, to help plan their new space. This is definitely seen as a highly desirable and value added service for more savvy homebuyers.

Goldsworthy Design is happy to complete one off display unites, but also welcomes on going design consulting contracts with developers, to assist with the planning, specifying and presentation process for new developments.

A "cosmetic" upgrade before putting your home on the market can cost as little as a few hundred, to several thousand dollars. This will not only increase your homes appeal, but also increase the value by several times your initial investment in the upgrades.

Fees
Our project fees are structured as follows:

· Both a per hour fee and negotiated fixed project fee are available for full design/project management services.
*If you are seeking full design services, please be prepared to provide us with the following information for accurate quoting; project overview, budget, timeline and scope of service you require.
· A reduced per hour fee is available for home staging services.
* This consultation includes; paint colour selection, furniture placement, sourcing & contact information.
· A 10% retainer fee will be charged on estimated total fees for full service design projects.
· A fee will be negotiated for travel time if outside of HRM.
